    Possible to recover deleted files?

Doesn't JaguarPC make backups of server content? Would it be possible to retrieve files that I unintentially deleted the contents of (by simply omitting one character in a Perl script) from this backup? I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

Submit a support ticket on this please. If the accidental deletion was not more than two weeks ago we should have a viable backup.

The files have been restored from the backup server from yesterday's backup. Thank you very much!

    If I might suggest...

You were lucky this time. You should maintain your own backups. This simple procedure has saved my butt numerous times in the past. I have backups of my web site going back 10 years. I back everything up on a regular basis, and I don't delete any of them.

In the past I have done this using FTP. I simply mirrored my whole site to my hard drive. However, with MySQL, and all that rot, backing up my site has become somewhat problematic. Fortunately, they have a dandy utility in cPanel that makes the backup process a point 'n' click operation (about the only thing I use in cPanel BTW).

I don't mean to sound smug. I'm just telling you the same thing that Greg (Jag) has said in numerous overlooked posts. Example:
