    redirect domain with htaccess

I've got a domain parked that I want forwarded to another folder, like multihosted.

    like if I have
    http://domainA.com and http://domainB.com both pointing to /home/username/

    I'd like domainB.com to point to /home/username/othersite

so instead of http://domainb.com going to http://domainA.com/othersite

I want to just see http://domainb.com
I don't want people coming in from domainB.com seeing domainA.com

I remember doing this with .htaccess once, but I don't seem to remember anymore.

Yeah, that's tricky. You would need to have an internal redirect. I think I had some working examples, but I don't remember where. I will post 'em if I find any, but can't promise you more than that.

It can be done with mod_rewrite, but I don't have an example handy either, either. If I come across one I'll post it, but why not just have JPC set it up as a multihosted domain? Each plan comes with five multihosted domains for free and additional ones are only a one-time fee of $15. Just create a subdomain with the same name as the folder that you wnat to point to. That will make http://foldername.domainA.com resolve to where you want domainB.com resolving. Then open a support ticket and ask to have domainB.com point at foldername.domainA.com. It will likely be set up within a couple hours and you won't have to worry about it.
