Can't really comment. After waiting for over 60 seconds for something to load beside the black background I closed the browser window. Keep in mind that I'm on a slow dial up. Many users are.

The birds chirping are annoying. The header is too big, overall. The rest of it looks good, but then again it looks like 1000 other sites I've seen. But it's also better many sites I've seen.

Very nice. You could turn off the sound by default and increase the size of the sound button a little so that it would be more noticeable (so it could be turned on).
