    Yet another redesign!

Here I go again, re-designing my site once more. I would like to know what you all think of it.

Also my user system now includes profiles. YAY.

    http://www.mikeconant.com/temp/safari.pdf

I registered the username "testing". When I got to the complete screen (from the email link), three fields were filled in; password was not. I filled in the password field and clicked "complete" button. Same screen came back with red star next to username. I am using safari 1.2 (v125). If I try to login I get a blank screen.

I just tried to complete the registration process again, only pasting the link into IE. Same results (form comes back with red star next to username)

Then I tried the second link that was in the email:

    http://members.dkanet.com//users/verify.php

and got a 404 error. It looks like the word "users" should be left out of the url. Once I removed "users" from the url it worked just as before. I think I just figured out what might be going on. "testing" is probably already in use. Perhaps there should be some sort of feedback on this or users will just go away. It took about 15 minutes for this to occur to me (but then maybe I'm a little slow).

Thanks, I used to have the link at http://www.dkanet.com/users/verify.php but I moved it to http://members.dkanet.com/verify.php and totally missed the /users/ part in that particular link.

A red star means that the field doesn't meet requirements or is already taken(username only).

Well, the site is mostly CSS driven. So I guess in IE5 for mac, CSS doesn't really work to good.

What's weird is that the PNGs are not working in IE 5.2.3 for mac. I don't use IE so I'm not sure if this is always the case.

I heard about that. That png's aren't supported by IE. hmmm... Maybe I should check into that.

Bah! Go look at this post:

All those images are .PNG's. That's all I use these days...
