Carbon down?

We've been having problems with our site all day, its been slow and working intermittently, now its gone completely. Any one having the same problem with Carbon?

Yeah, FTP problems in the morning, and now the server is down.

Site back up but MySQL down.

carbon never seems to work well for very long

the mysql issue is something on several servers that I beleive we have fixed by implementing a script of our own.

It seems the cpanel updates sometime overwrite or alter the mysql conf and causes some sock issue. (trying to translate tech lingo form one of my techs

) . If you have a constant series of problems with carbon or any machine for that matter I would like to hear about it.
