    Question Two Questions

    Here is my predicament:

I already have two domains registered and hosted by Aletia, 'coinsiderthat.com' and 'aldrichdesigns.com'. Today I registered a new domain 'tshirtgod.com' at aletiaNIC.com, and I want to use my existing hosting at Aletia to maintain this website.

I do not know how to go about doing this. So then I decided to open up a support ticket but I do not know the password that they want on the Jaguar Client Section login page. It is not the same password I use for my control panel.

    My questions are,

How do I get my password back so I can open a support ticket?

How do I host my new domain as an independent website aside from my other two domains which share the same website?

    Thank You, Brian Aldrich

Domain names and actual websites are two different things. I'm a little confused as to whether you're talking about a domain name account at aletiaNIC.com or a hosting account at JagPC.

If I understand you correctly, you want to know how to consolidate two seperate domain name accounts over at AletiaNIC, correct? Have all your domains manged under the same account?

OR, you could be asking how to manage several web sites within the same hosting account at JagPC.

    Clarify, please.

Sorry about the confusion. I have two domains currently that both share the same website. Both of those domains were purchased at different times from registrars other than aletiaNIC. Furthermore, I have them both hosted at JagPC under a j200 account.

What I want to know is, with this third domain that I bought from aletiaNIC, how can I host it with my existing account at JagPC but have it be a completly separate website from the website my other two domain names are pointed to?

I hope this is a little more clear, please write back.

OKAY! I figured out how to get it started. My problem now is opening up a support ticket. I do not have the password that it asks for, how can I get it?

If I dont get that password I cannot open a ticket.

    Thank You, Brian Aldrich

    Maybe this will help you:

    Multi-Hosted Domains

To read more about what is a multi-hosted domain, please click here. From the technical point of view, if your main domain is domain1.com, and you need to multi-host domain2.com, then you will need to create a subdomain "domain2" from the control panel.

Please note that when you create a subdomain, it will automatically create a folder in your public_html, of the same name as of subdomain, e.g. public_html/domain2/ for the domain2.domain1.com.

You can then upload files for domain2.com in public_html/domain2/ which will work as an independent website accessible as http://domain2.com and http://www.domain2.com

In short, when you are ready to setup a multi-hosted domain, please create the subdomain and open a support ticket that your new domain be multi-hosted on the subdomain, e.g.

    domain2.com -> domain2.domain1.com
