Stats?

I've been pondering on what all the terms mean in the stats programs - visitors, pages, hits, etc. etc.

for instance, in Webalizer we have
Total Hits
Total Files
Total Pages
Total Visits
Total KBytes

I can pretty much figure what Visits and KBytes are, but what are the rest?

All that matters are 'page views' and 'errors'. All the rest is fodder...

I like to know the number of unique vistors too. Otherwise I agree
most of the info provided is junk.

I'm more interested in making the 1 person that views 100 pages happy, than the 100 ppl that view 1 page. How about you, Connie?

I would be more concerend with why 100 people are only looking at 1 page, what are you doing wrong that means you can't keep them on your page!
