    Complete noob question:

    www.mysitename here coming soon!
This page is parked FREE at GoDaddy.com!

Obviously where the "mysitenamehere" is located is the actual name of my site. But what the hell does that mean and when will it go away? How do I get rid of that "parked free" page? Go Daddy sent me some stupid email with two dozen options leading all over the place. I don't understand.

    Are you a JAG customer?

Did you register your domain with GoDaddy?

Have you had a site before?

If you are a JAG customer, and you have registered a domain with GoDaddy, you will need to have GoDaddy point your domain to JAG's nameservers.

Or ask for help from JAG sales to do it.
Or transfer your domain to AletiaNIC with JAG's help.

If you're not a JAG customer, you might want to sign up!

    Either way, good luck.
EDIT: I stand corrected and have updated this post.

I would bet that the domain name is registered through godaddy and needs to be pointed to the JPC servers.

Change the DNS servers listed with your domain to point at JPC ones. You need to use at least one of these pairs:

    ns.jaguarpc.net
    ns2.jaguarpc.net

    ns.nocdirect.com
    ns2.nocdirect.com

    ns1.aletia.net
    ns2.aletia.net

I've never regiestered with GoDaddy, so I don't know their system, but there should be some kind of administration area in their site. Log in there and find a place to change your DNS servers or nameservers. Then just enter any two of the JPC servers and your site will (provided your hosting is set up and ready to go) begin resolving correctly in 2-3 days.

On godaddy, go to your account, manage domains, click on the domain. Here is a screenshot of where you have to click to enter the servers.

Thanks to everyone who helped. I am pretty sure that will correct the problem... as it could take a couple of days to see, I don't know for sure, but I'd be betting that everything will start working fine very soon.

    Thanks again everyone!
