Yep! It's done that for a long time...

Not what I am talking about

ibplanet host more Hacks for IPB than their are for phpbb, but that is really besides the point

the CORE functionality, the CORE stablity, the CORE security, the CORE itself is ALOT better than phpbb can ever hope of being...

Everytime phpbb updates they are about 5 steps behind IPB, which makes them 3 steps ahead of vB

they are neck and neck with vB IMHO, but still pretty far behind IPB 2.0

what is soo good about a defualt vb3 install with basic header changes????????????????

I have seen many good vb Skins, that is not one of them

and I was not referring to the SKIN, the skin on any BBS is more or less pointless in the realm I am speaking, I am talking about the implenation of features, Core Feature Set, Coding, Security, Speed, # or queries, etc etc etc etc etc etc

Well Vin, you have a point. I mean if that board was just about Hondas, it would be the status quo... but Super Hondas? Now we have something. I mean.... wow.

LoL! I take it, you can't point to any good IPB forums...

Look, let's forget the 1,000 ppl online, and 1,500,000 posts, et cetera. Point me to one with like 750,000 posts and 500 ppl online. I wanna see how good the 'core' works...

Invision Board has not been around long enough to have that kind of Posting... However there are some High Traffic Sites using it, and more and more change everday

this is the First REAL competition vB has had in the php bulletin board market, lets see how many are still using vB in 5 years
