Hi everyone,
I hope you can stand some greenhorn questions.![]()
The manual says that a default index page is installed but, um, I cannot find it. Where might this elusive page be and where/how do I replace it?
TIA

Welcome greenhorn.
If you have just started hosting with Jaguar, then you should be able to log in to your account via FTP or SSH and access the "home" page. aka the default index page, in the directory public_html, i.e. /home/youraccountname/public_html/.
I forgot if the name is index.htm, index.html, home.html, etc. because I changed the name of the file many moons ago, but you should be able to access and edit that file to suit your needs.
To test how it will appear, load it up in your browser by typing http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html (or whatever it's called) in the URL.
This is a very preliminary step but you'll have to provide more information as you go along.
Thanks very much for responding!
I wasn't seeing the file after going to the File Manager. I have been clicking on the directory names instead of the folder icons.
