Can you view the stats for the shared https://server.nocdircet.com/~username or do you just have to upgrade to your own ssl cert?

I'm with Vin on this. The only way I know of to view stats is through the CP.

I think he's asking if stats are available for requests that come in through the server URL instead of through his domain name.

Actually, I think those kind of requests are loged the same way as the ones through your own URL, so all requests for you site end up in the same reports, regardless of the URL used, but I'm not 100% sure on this.

I have part of the site pointing toward the shared https://server.nocdirect.com/~username

Using CP w/ AWS, can this be monitored independantly, or is it even logged in the same user log script as the rest of the domain activity?

Just to close this for anyone else looking:

I don't think that any traffic to "https://server.nocdirect.com/~username" shows up in any stats, but does account for that "3% of traffic" not picked up by the bandwidth measurer.

If I'm wrong, please correct me!

You seem to be correct. Since I do not yet have a domain name pionted to my account (another painful thread elsewhere on this forum!), I have been using "http://server.nocdirect.com/~username" for all of my design and testing, and a check of my stats revealed no traffic - zero, nada, zilch. I also note at the top of Awstats that it says "statistics for Yourdomain.com", not "https://server.nocdirect.com/~username".

Thanks for the thread, it saved me a lot of time trying to figure out why the stats aren't working!

All traffic to https://server.nocdircet.com/~username will not be logged towards your domain/account as the domain specified here is server.nocdircet.com.
