    Iridium downtime

Iridium seems to be up to its old tricks again, confirmed by the network status page. Just wondering what the issue is this time and if it is expected to be permanently resolved soon. Last night, it was down for at least the 40min that I was online for. Today I just submitted a ticket again.

As a sidenote, yesterday, when looking at the Network Status page, I noticed that the Primary DNS server was down (red - OFFLINE). I asked a tech in my ticket, but was told that I was mistaken. Even after Iridium came back up, the Prim.DNS was still showing as offline. Today it's green (OK). Any comments on that one?

    Thanks

We are aware of it and the server is being rebooted, it should be back up in a few minutes.

    Thanks Veena.

I would still like to know what this recurring problem is. Daily reboots are something I'd like to reserve for my desktop, not your server. Thanks .

Okay, enough is enough! I feel really stupid here, but where exactly do I find the "network status page"? I thought that if I was bright enough to register domains, get them hosted, set up all the DNS myself, and write even a simple web site that I should be able to find the "network status page" without help. Apparently that is not the case.

On the main page, log in to your account on the left (Client Login). The Network Status page is listed in the menu on the left once you're in, closer to the bottom.

If you log into your client area, the link is listed under the "Tools" section.

Another "reboot" just now, right in the middle of an install I was doing. Any idea yet on what is the cause of all of these "reboots"? Thanks.

    ____Thanks Veena
