    Anyone having problems on justice?

Hi.. This sunday has been a nightmare for me... First, the whole site was down because the /tmp directory was full. NOthing to worry about, I just opened a ticket and they cleaned the directory.

But now my main database (portal, webmail, forums, articles, gallery...), about 600MB of data, is totally crashed :'( Luckily I have a backup from this morning... Almost all the tables of the database are crashed... anyone with these sort of problems on Justice or JaguarPC? Any advises? (I opened a support ticket and I hope they find the cause of the problem).

Have you tried to repair the tables that are effected. It is an uncommon problem, but sometimes tables get out of whack, especially if you've recetly modified the structure and/or you've had a lot of traffic on your site. You can repair tables in phpMyAdmin (select the table and then use the "Repair Table" link on the "Operations" tab) , through the MySQL command line, or even a PHP script if you are so inclined.

    For more information see http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/Repair.html

    Hope this helps.

Yes I tried that and the tables crashed.

A tech fixed the problem though, using myisamchk I think.

But now the mysql server is saying Too many connections... And my site is down again... :'(

Let's hope the techs find a solution quickly.

That's usually caused by either an increadibly busy server (not likely) or a script that isn't closing connections properly. It is usually somethign that's easy to fix.
