Don't know. I don't use SpamAssassin and like you I don't use CP That often. I use mail washer, :discard: or whatever and a few filters. Takes care 95% or more of the spam I receive.

I realize your site is different from mine. I can't rely on spam assassin. Spam Assassin has proved to be to buggie for other users that have a lot more knowledge than I will ever have. Bottom line I can't experiment with e-mail.

I knew that you were ahead of me, Vin, I just didn't realize how much. I am still getting messages for July 7, 2004, haven't made it to August yet.

Its been there for a few months. Its not perfect, though. You can add white and black list addresses and a few options, but you can't add options that they don't list. However, if you edit the config file by hand and add your own options you can adjust the options from CPanel later. (Personally I find it just as easy to work directly on the config file.)

I know you like Guniea pigs. You are better equiped to delal with them than I am.

I experment on a server that does not affect my business. One of the things I have learned about e-mail is every Jag sever does not handel filters, forwarders etc. the same.

I have 1 test site. 2 pdroduction sites. Each site is on a differnt server. Because I have been around so long each site has a deditcated IP.

What I test and what works on the test site in regard to email does not neccessarly work on either of the Production sites. Or it will work on one and not the other.
