    Arrow Spam Assassin turned off?

Somewhere between 5:30 AM & 7:50 AM on August 20th the Spam Assassin email filtering apparently stopped working. I had it enabled (and have since re-enabled it) in the control panel but there's nothing in the headers that indicates Spam Assassin anymore. I miss the X-Spam headers that I use for filtering! Is there anything under my control that could have turned it off? Probably coincidence, but earlier that morning (around 2 am) I received an invoice from billing@JaguarPC. Anyway, I thought I'd ask here before submitting an official ticket. I'm on the patriot.nocdirect.com server.

Once a while back (a few months ago), SpamAssassin quit working for my site on Silicon. I was busy at the time and just kind of ignored it, and a few hours ater it came back. I never contacted support, so I don't know what happened, but I haven't had any problems since.

The same thing might happen to you. I wouldn't hurt to contact support, though. Usually the only way they'll find out that something isn't working is by having a client tell them.

    Ticket time!

    Thanks, Jason.
It's been a week and I think it's time to contact the good folks at support.

Yeah, I'd say that 's a long enough wait. Personally, I'd probably have waited 24 hours tops before reporting it. Not having my spam filtered would probably drive me crazy.

I would have reported it sooner, but I wanted to search around the forums to see if anyone else had reported it. Unfortunately, the searching doesn't seem to work since the upgrade. Time to rebuild the index!

I opened a support ticket and it was fixed in 72 seconds. That's scary fast. Guess the stories about JaguarPC's tech support being excellent... were not doing it justice!

    Tip jars?

Holy cow! Jag could clean up if they posted a virtual tip jar for such a rapid response. Everyone expects a certain amount of response from their purchased services, but with a response like that... I'd be inclined to make an extra contribution. I may be cheap but not so cheap to not recognize, and reward, exceptional performance.
