I added a set of galleries for my fractal art to my site. Check them out at http://ericpauker.net/index.php?fractal_art, and let me know what you think.

See the photography and digital artwork of Eric Pauker at http://ericpauker.net/
Easy to use and I like the way the background does not distract from the art. Very nice.
The only suggestion I will make is to decrease the gallery images slightly and reduce the page so you don't have to scroll. By reducing the need to scroll you will create greater, more complete visual impact when each gallery loads.
Came back to add the suggested gallery size of 4 across and 3 down.

I love the images!! Fantastic work on those![]()
However, the site itself is not very complimentary to the artwork. Keep in mind this is opinion, but does come with a small amount of qualification...
The soft bevel, textured background, and cooper font all mix to give a casual, kind of sugary feel. I like some of the individual elements, but overall it feels like less work went into it than actually did. Kind of a shame because you seem to have a really good eye for balance and color. In fact, I think the only things that really bug me are the rounded bevel and the textures.
If you are seeking input about the complete site, consider doing a 'flat' version - keep the same colors and font, but do it without the stuff mentioned. However, if you like the way it looks, stick with it
Also, I'll say that the navigation is clean, and I'd agree with Jaded about the gallery size. Again, not a killer, especially with such great artwork.
The quilts are quite good!

Much better visual impact![]()
