    What's up with Mercury?

Is it so or am I mistaking, It seems to me like Mercury is showing a lot of downtime lately, any specific reason? Could be that I'm wrong because offcourse I only check server status when "my server" is down.
    Any thoughts?

I have an account on Mercury, and have seen only 5 downtimes in the last 2 weeks, only 1 in the last 4 days. 3 were for 30 minutes, 2 were for 45 minutes give or take. The test that I run on this account does not include a test to see if MySQL is functional.

All other response times are phenomenal on this machine, with sub 1-second response times in the vast majority, 99% (give or take) in the sub 2-second category. The longest response times were: 1 response in about 6 seconds, 1 in 5 secodns, 7 in 4 seconds.
This is out of a total of more than 1300 queries, spaced at 15 minute intervals over a course of 2 weeks. This report is "real world" as it checks the site from across the web and takes into account internet traffic as well as the servers response time, so there's no way to tell if the net was "slow" or the machine was slow at the time.

Overall this is a great report, so perhaps your problem lies elsewhere, like with mySQL.

    Good luck.

    Hi Ron,

We were able to locate an individual that was abusing the server, thus forcing us to preform several reboots. We will continue to monitor the server to see if the high loads continue.
