Well there has been that flurry of upgrades going on across the servers and some of them seems to have been not so perfect.

Just courious. What do you mean by the site is slow? Do you mean on your PC? Do you mean that you did a ping or trace route and found the site to be slow?

Everything has been good on my site, for the last few days. Before that, not so good, but it wasn't JagPC's fault.
When the server load climbed into the 300's (should be >2), the other night, they discovered someone stealing processes from the server, and someone else running malicious code.
I don't know if they booted these idiots off the server, but everything has been fine since then...![]()

I didn't ping, I just noticed it was slow on my end. And it's not my computer itself because other websites were fine. Even right now my site is down! I think I'll just fill out a ticket.
Things seem to be a little slower than usual, but when I see over 200 guests on my forum at once I think the slowness is probably down to that 'lovely' worm that's going around at the moment.
I've been noticing some slowness on and off. I had a link to my site in my profile on another website and no one there could load it today. The site is coming up very quickly at the moment but I'll see if this continues into tomorrow before sending in a ticket.
Yes, today all sorts of web sites are slow, not just JagPC. I suspect 'worms' are having a field day. Evidently they didn't take the Christmas Holiday off...![]()

My site was sluggish earlier. I tried to check the JagPC forums but it wouldn't even load. Everything is fine now. I think it's the Santy worm or upgrades.
Yes Mine is slow too. I also notice alot of MySQL connection is full also. I too suspect its the worming eating up everyone connection and bandwidth.
I'm experiencing incredible slowness also. In fact, I plugged in my website address before I even came to this forum, I'm writing this message, and it still hasn't loaded yet. Been on and off the past 2+ days. E-mail totally times out (past 2 days).

Same problem here as well. My site on Falcon is completely unreachable via the web or by shell access, and I can't send email b/c it just times out. Interestingly, the network status page indicates that all is well...
This is the response from a ticket I opened. Since I'm able to get to other sites, the issue is definitely not with my ISP. I guess I'll just have to wait until more people open tickets and they realize there IS a problem.
"I am not able to replicate the issue at my end. And it seems your network is having issues connecting to our network. Have you contacted your ISP regarding this? Please let me know if you still face problems.
If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us. "
Okay, here's my experience...
Yesterday, it was taking 10 minutes or more for my site to generate a page. I contacted Tech Support. They said everything looked normal...
When I finally got my main page to 'come up', I noticed there were 64 users online, on my site. I thought, how could this be?
I did a ping and there was a 50% packet loss, so I contacted Tech Support again. They said it still looked fine.
At that point, I used a proxy server in Poland to access my site, and guess what - it came up just fine.
I figure there must be a bad router blade out there somewhere, which JagPC has no control over, so I wouldn't be too hard on them...![]()

Hmmm... well I don't know too much about what I'm looking at, but I just ping'd my accounts on Hydrogen and both came back with 75% loss. I ping'd my other non-hydrogen sites (about 5 of them) and they were 0% loss. Wouldn't that indicate a problem at Jag?
