    Hello everyone, dumb question:

    is it 'okay' to empty the tmp/analog folder from my control panel

    And if l do delete it's contents - what exactly would l be losing?

    Yes, it's ok.


    You'll lose the ability to look at your retrospective stats through analog, probably up through current day.

    If you are concerned about losing all of your stats in the future but don't want to store everything on your web space, start downloading all of the raw log files on some regular schedule to your local drive. Then install your own version of Analog locally and run it for your log analysis. Even if you don't run Analog, as long as you have the raw log files, you can analyze everything using all sorts of tools. You may be aware of this already but I just thought I'd offer the suggestion to those that might not know that Analog doesn't have to be run on a web server to be useful.

    I run Report Magic with Analog to produce reports.
