    Knock-knock. Is anybody there?

    I've opened a support ticket about 2 hours ago and didn't get a response yet.
    Now I can't even log in into clients area. What's going on? Is anybody there? Is there any support number I could call?

    Posts in updates section and on webhostingtalk.com board say the clients area should be working now.


    UPDATE: can log in into clients area now, but still no word from support.

    they probably have a lot of people to get to, or maybe they looked at your problem and are trying to fix it, not everything can be solved in a couple of hours. They will probably let you know when they fix it. Or set a higher priority too.

    Thank you for you reply, but this is something that could be done in minutes: I need to import TAB delimited file into the database and it requies FILE permission (since MySQL 4).
    Either granting the permissions or executing that command with admin password would do the trick.

    I am not sure they see the ticket, though, because I didn't get an usual e-mail notification too.

    just because it is something that ***could be handled"**** in a matter of moments, the staff could have more pressing issuse's ... Like making sure the SERVERS ARE UP AND RUNNING

    I hate these "I sumbitted my support ticket 2 hours ago, I demand 15min Responses when I only pay $10 a mo for serivce" threads....

    they have obviously got some problems since the Client area was unavialible, give them some time jeeze

    I disagree. I have found that when I don't receive an email notification the ticket isn't addressed. This happened to me every time one of my servers was having a particular problem. It has been a long while since it has happened to me, and I don't recall which server, or what the porblem was.

    Maybe if you don't get an email ticket, then THEY don't get the notification, either.

    I'd reply to the ticket in the system and see if you get a notification from the reply. If you don't, I'd open a second ticket about the first ticket and the lack of notification (reminding them that the first ticket needs to be addressed).

    Thank you Ron, that was exactly my way of thinking.
    I actually posted about this problem after replying to the same ticket I didn't get notification to the reply either, so I didn't think opening more tickets would make a difference.
