    Available disk space

    Hello

I don't know if this section is the right place for my questions...
I'm sorry if i was wrong choice.

Well... We have a problem with available disk space. Suddenly the space decreased about 2 mb.

At 'Disk Usage Viewer', the folder 'tmp/analog' is 176.82 mb!
There are huge HTML files (15-16-17 mb) and a folder 'Cache' (46,8 mb)

How can I increase the available disk space?
Can I delete these files and folder?

YEs, you can delete them. If you do, you'll lose some of your historical stats data, but if that doesn't bother you, thend deleting those files will be fine.

Are you on the GigaDeal or another plan?

The reason I ask is if you are on an older plan,. you disk space limits are lower so 176MB might be most of your disk space allotment. On the GigaDeal the limit is currently 1,000 MB, so the 176MB might not be such a big factor for you.

If you are on an older plan, the GigaDeal is generally the same price for larger limits, and JAG graciously currently allows people to move up free of charge, so all you have to do is open a ticket to SALES and they can help you.

The number on Control Panel is sometimes wrong, too. After they upgrade you to the GigaDeal let us know and we can walk you through looking at how much space you're really using.

Actually, you can look using the "Disk Spce Viewer" on the CPanel page... that might help to see if there's just a problem with the total reported, or if there is really a big file or two hanging around.

    Let us know!

    Hmm...
On 'Disk Space Viewer' everything is OK.
    Almost 150 mb free space.
    I hope this is right.

    Thanx again, Ron!

Yes, as Ron said, the CPanel usage is sometimes out of sync with your actual usage. The disk space viewer is a better tool for checking how much space you are using. As Ron said too, its also good for finding large files that you might not know exist.

Our plan is 'GigaDeal', now. Thank you both!
