Is there a way to turn 'register_globals' off?
If you're wondering, it needs to be turned off for "gallery" to run.

Yes, in .htaccess just add the line:
php_flag register_globals off
--Jason
In mine it reads:
php_value register_globals off
php_flag probably works too, as Jason usually knows his stuff, but just in case..

This is what I run at the top of my root '.htaccess' file...
Code:Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on php_flag display_errors off php_flag register_globals off

php_flag is for boolean (on/off, true/false, 1/0, etc.) values, php_value is for all others, but it evidently works for booleans too.

There's gold in those bullions...![]()

Hmm.. had me worried there for a moment, but indeed, _value works too (phpinfo confirmed this). I checked the manual and that indeed says _value is not for booleans.
Conversion of boolean -> bullion failed thus far.![]()
Perhaps Vin is a better alchemist?

Here are some booleans that anyone can use to expriment with; feel free to cut me a share of the bullion if you're successful: true, true, false, true, false, false.
