Unstable server :(

I'm having problems with our hosted domain. The server seems unstable and has rebooted twice. I dont know if its because of maintenance or upgrades, i haven't seen any messages about downtime in the forums.

Its quite noticable since i obviously can't access the site, traceroute stops at this address:

vl2-rtr1.nocdirect.com (69.7.160.227) 240.074 ms 242.582 ms 236.994 ms

once the server is accessible, uptime shows:

10:12am up 4 min, 2 users, load average: 7.83, 4.23, 1.66

at that point, the server hasn't booted properly and mysql isn't accessible, which means the site remains down because it depends on mysql.

anyone having similar problems with an unstable server?

Without knowing your domain name or the server your hosted on I can't say for sure.

However two servers this morning (gold.nocdirect.com & mercury.nocdirect.com)were rebooted quickly while having very fast hardware upgrades. Downtime for both was under five minutes. I do apologize for not posting anything sooner.

If you continue to have problems please do not hesistate to open a support ticket.

I think my domain is hosted under mercury.nodirect.com. No problem, no harm done :]
