Domain showing cached info all of a sudden

I just finished installing WordPress for a client and everything was going smoothly. All of a sudden, my page refreshed on it's own and now I'm back to seeing her old MoveableType index page. When I attempt to login to her WP, it says url not found, but all of her files are there because I can see them in her directory.

I've tried clearing my cookies and my cache, but the problem still exists. My question is, is this a Jag problem or my ISP's problem? I've had others see if they can see the WP template on the site (http://www.firebrandesiderata.net/) and they can, so it only appears to be a problem with me.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Are you using Internet Explorer, by any chance?

Eww. Goodness no! I'm using Firefox. I have tested it in both IE and FF though and it's the same with both. What do you see Vin? A black template or the default blue and white WordPress template? It should be showing the default blue and white WP template.

Like I said, I tried to login to her WP and can't even do that because it says the URL to the login page can't be found, but yet I can see the file sitting in her directory. It's pretty damn frustrating!

    K. So everyone can see it but me, so it must be my ISP. Anyway I can check this? Traceroute? I'm not familiar with it though. :-(

    Thanks Vin!

I just think it's weird that it's just this one site that I'm having problems with. If it were a cache problem with my ISP, wouldn't it affect other sites as well?

    Try going through a proxy.

    Here's my latest favorite: http://www.nethider.com/

EDIT: Heh! NetHider just disappeared from the web.

    Another proxy bites the dust...

I can see it going through that Proxy. Can you explain to me why I can see it there and not on my end? Why does going through a proxy work? Sorry, I'm just not that familiar with the concept.

I'm guessing it's my ISP or maybe the proxy settings on my computer???? Any idea how to fix if it's my computer?

You could also try using different nameservers.

Are you using a proxy via your ISP? A lot of ISP's that offer so called "Internet Acceleration" services use inline proxy servers. Instead of making a connection directly from your computer to the remote site, your computer actually makes a request to a proxy and the proxy either returns a cached page (if it has a cache of the requested URL) or it makes the request to the other server, caches the result, and then sends you the page. If you are using one of these types of services then you may be getting a copy of the old site (although throwing new URL's (such as the WP login page) should get you the new content.

[EDIT]After having a cup of coffee, I realize my second comment made no sense, so its gone[/EDIT]

Right now I see the WordPress site, but not the proxy. Nethide has gone into hiding (behind a Plesk default page)?
