ok I just sended my payment and i got my pass and eveything. this is what i am confused about, Do i have to register ...

    lost,confused,help?

    ok I just sended my payment and i got my pass and eveything. this is what i am confused about, Do i have to register a domain? didn't jaguar setted everything up for me? SO LOST PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY I HAVE TO SET IT UP AND STUFF.. what is a good site for registering a domain?

    yes you have to have a domain. You can buy it through Jaguar or use a site such as register.com

    Happy, good luck with your project but I think you may be in over your head right now. Do you have an ISP that provides a simpler web publishing process for you to practice on and research before going full-on webmaster? I know you're probably anxious to publish but you appear to be so lost that you don't understand the basics. I can sympathize... we all can since we're all at different levels of development and weren't born with xHTML on the brain.

    A step back and some reading would probably temper some of the frustration.

    Hey, can I get a .help domain too?

    Given how often this question comes by: wouldn't it be an idea to offer hosting without a domain too? All sites are accessible with just a username anyway (http://orion.nocdirect.com/~gwaihir/)..

    Not very sofisticated of course, but it does get you started till you've decided on and bought a domain.

    okay I just registed my domain on www.aletianic.com.. at least i think i did.. It added to a chart.. is it settled? do i have to wait or something?

    If you havent already you need to set the DNS nameservers up. ns3.jaguarpc.net & ns4.jaguarpc.net are a good choice. If you need help getting that done you can submit a ticket and we can take care of it for you.

    Ok i need another help, My friend offered me http://domainnamesexpress.com/ to register a domain.. if anyone uses this I need help what to put in the Nameserver box..

    Happy again you are confusing me. In your post # 7 you said

    If you registered the domain name at aletianic.com thats where you enter the DNS information.

    Regardless of where you regestered the domain name you should have a Controll Panel that allows you to manage your domain. You need to find where the the name server information is and change it to what Les gave you in post # 8.
    ns3.jaguarpc.net
    ns4.jaguarpc.net
