Hrm... Is it still happening?
When this sort of thing happens, it's been my experience that the mail server is temporarily down. Personally, I don't use POP3 all that much, but my wife does. I have her setup on two different accounts - one here, and one elsewhere. Why? Because from time-to-time, it seems like one or the other is 'down'. And, when a mail server isn't working, it will ask you for the user name and password ad nauseum.
So, that would be my guess. If it keeps happening, contact 'Tech Support'...![]()

I had this exact same problem. I added an email account and started getting errors with every other one of my email addresses where it asked for the password over and over. The new account worked fine, it was just the old one. I checked all the settings in Outlook Express and noticed that on the new account I set the full email address as the username and the others were just the identifier of the email address. So, for the username, use the full email address ---> Name@Domain.com instead of just the identifier ---> Name
It's possible that you could just use the Name for all accounts. It might just have to be identical throughout the domain either way. Hope this helps some people.
