Finally got a response from support: An hour and a half after I opened the ticket, 4 hours since the machine is down. Ya ready?

So did the reboot get your site back up? I wonder, are you the only client monitoring your site (and by extension, the server) on weekends? Four hours seems like a long time for a simple response like a reboot and pretty atypical to the response times to which we are accustomed.

    Spathy,
No. As is obvious, it's not a simple reboot issue, otherwise it wouldn't have taken this long.
Also, I finally asked support directly if the machine was dead and would have to wait till morning, and they confirmed it was a hardware issue -- but assured me techs were working on the issue. lol.

Maybe Uranium grenaded and took your server with it...

Could be, but Uranium looks like it was/is up -- perhaps my server was ground zero

I can't believe Vin missed out on using a depleted Uranium reference.
