    Not that I know of. I ran across a site, the other night, that had, like, 280,000 pics in Coppermine...

    No, not really.

    It goes to the same motions whether there be 100 or 100,000 pictures in. It's up to MySQL to make sure the extra table size doesn't affect it much and it does a good job at that.
