Jaguar should have graphs that show the load on each server over time - and put them in a place where users can see them.
This would help people schedule cron jobs or cpu-intensive queries at the most appropriate time.
I've got my cron jobs in the 1am-4am time slot. But if I happen to do a big one (like a database backup) at the same time other people are doing it - things could get slow.
The load at Nickel right now is:
20.81, 16.68, 10.28
Could this be all my fault for running an update query on a 3 million record table (where I'm changing all 3 million records)? It's been taking 20 minutes...
I wouldn't normally be doing this, but I'm working with a rather large database for geocoding.

I've been asking for this too, for various reasons. Heck; I'll go find that feature request thread and put it in there.
