No, I had made a post last night about the extreme slowness Ive had for 4 days straight, and then a few hours of downtime. I've only used my account for those 4 days, and evereyday was terrible. Just wanted to know what was up, and I guess it was deleted within minutes. That's fair.

Well, it's been my experience that 'slowness' can be caused by many, many, things (most of which JagPC doesn't have any control over -- a bad router blade at your ISP or whatever) and these threads aren't the best place to handle it.

I occasionally launch a "is anyone else having problems" post, but that's just out of curiosity. I know nothing is going to be accomplished by it...

I guess Eric said it best...
Please take traceroutes from your local machine to the server when slowdowns are noticed and open a support ticket so we can look into problems like this as the forums are not the correct way in resolving these issues.

Well Im sure it's not on my end, since everyhting else runs fine. It's just that I purchased this VSP after tons of research, here and on other forums, and thought I finally came up with the right choice. So you can imagine what it feels like when I go to work on my site for the first day, and the page loads take up to 1 minute, for 4 days straight. I finally made the post when the site went completely down, and I didnt receive in answer in a couple of hours. I just wanted to get everyone elses opinions, I didnt intend to discredit this company at all. Trust me, I want this to work; I hate moving my site around all the time. If I get good service and support here, I'll let everyone know, on here and on other sites.

I guess the downtime was attributed to a licensse expiration on the server? That's what I was eventually told, and that's fine. I just hope the slowness isn't a common thing. I must say, my site is running a lot faster now today...let's hope it lasts.

I was also told that my Virtuozzo license expired. My VPS has been down for over 24 hours. I can understand a cPanel license expiring, which isn't critical to a VPS running, but the Virtuozzo license expiring causes me concern. I've had numerous problems over the past 24 hours and I'm being told one thing and then later told they have no idea. I sucked it up and just requested that my VPS be wiped w/ a different panel. I was informed it was wiped and it wasn't touched. I'm asking for straight answers. I had JPC a while back with a shared account and never had these problems. In fact I have referred 2 people to them because I was happy with their shared service.

We were issued a new evaluation license yesterday for the VPS server that had licensing problems last night. This new evaluation license was a temporary license to hold us over until last night or today when Virtuozzo was able to send us a new paid license. The temporary license loaded fine and was functioning as planned, but last night it went into "expired" status since the license had an expiration date of last night. We eventually received the paid license and had it loaded last night but not soon enough, unfortunately.

The paid license has no expiration date so this will not happen again. We apologize for the confusion and frustration last night. If you're still noticing problems with your VPS, it's unrelated to this and these issues need to be addressed in the ticket system. If you're having a problem receiving responses from technicians, please PM me.
