Angry Can't login to client area!

Since I reported the bouncing of incoming emails to my account, just after reporting and getting (the password restored) fixed the inability to login to my FTP using ws_ftp, I have not been able to regain entry to the support area.
I am getting a little p****d at this!
It is almost 3 am and I don't want to be messing around trying to recover my 'business' email account! I want to go to bed!
Twice I used the contact form at 'http://www.jaguarpc.com/?loc=contact' the last time was about half an hour ago. I have had no response email to click a link on for it to be forwarded to support.
Are you being hit badly by the hurricane?
There is definitely something wrong with the above contact page!
What the f*** is going on here?

    The system is not perfect!

OK, I have just rebooted and I can access the support area and see all those sad messages sitting there.........
Someone should modify the system, since others have suffered the same as I have!
Especially fix the contact form, that is soooooooo frustrating!
So, I lost a days business emails and didn't get any FTP work done, and apart from 'there being a problem with the password' I don't know why!

I wonder how much money I lost because of this!

    Hrm...

If you do not logout of the 'support area' each time you leave it, it takes a while for the session to time out, or whatever. How long this 'time' is, I don't know, but several ppl have reported this problem. Eventually, it will let you back in, but you may be asleep by then...

Oops! I guess we posted at the same time...

Linn Sondek LP12 -- nice! I settled for a Thorens TD-160C with a damper kit...

Seems to me that if a reboot took care of the problem, the problem was on your end.

    Why the damper kit¿
Black vinyl still rules, in my book!

I really do think it would be a good idea for this information to be highlighted on the login page! Might save the techies a bit of time too....

I don't think so. Either it was sheer coinsidence, or it was needed to log back in. Some kind of cookie thing.
The reboot was to get offline, and shake the cookies, no other reason.

Vin DSL explained what the problem was.......

Being Scottish, I always wanted a Linn Sondek, but (being Scottish) I was always too cheap to buy one. So one day I was reading an article about how ppl in the UK were throwing a damper kit into Thorens turntables and getting the same sound out of them as Linns. Of course, at the end of the day, I own a Thorens, not a Linn...

Heh! That reminds me -- I need to order a belt. Mine's got a nasty bump in it...

Anyway, I agree with you. Given the choice, I'll always buy vinyl...

EDIT: Well, I'll be damned! They're still selling kits for these things!

typically a close of the browser and reopen will reset the session for me when I have trouble with support.

And yes.. the system is being redesigned right now along with the main site.
