Ask the web developer for the info?
Yeah, apparently (from what you say) your web developer is the owner of the account. Jag simply can't hand it over to whoever asks. Just think how you'd feel if it were your account (potentially) handed over to someone else and you can surely realize the predicament.
So, getting hold of that web developer is almost certainly the easiest course of action.

Of course i would not want Jag to hand over the account to anyone who asks. However, the web dev doesn't work for the company any more, and even though he's the contact listed on there, the company owns the name. I have no way to get in touch with him.
At an ad agency I worked for, when they were dealing with incorrect domain name registration information, their registrar let them fax something over on official company letterhead to revise the info. (official letterhead of the company whose site was in question, not just the ad agency).
The problem I'm having with Jag is that I've emailed sales@jaguarpc.com , and also tried to submit their form http://www.jaguarpc.com/?loc=contact with this question. The form submission confirmation says that I should be receiving an email with a link to verify my email before the message gets sent to their staff, but I've never gotten the email. I've also not gotten a response to my emails.
The website says that the sales phone number won't take support calls. How else can I get in touch with someone to help me?
Surely there must be some way of fixing this. I really don't know what else to do.

Try calling them just for the heck of it, but try to do it during business hours (9-5 Central Time)
if your not getting the return mail, check any spam filters it is probally being caught up in that...Originally Posted by mswas
and as Ron Suggested call them anyway, This could be called a "sales" question as it deals with the billing aspect of your site as well
or PM Jag here,
Finally did get the verification email - at 9:54 pm. I had submitted the form around 1pm.
Support in that context means technical support. This however is exactly the type of thing you need sales / billing folks for. Surely there must indeed be a way. For one thing, you say the developer was never really the owner of the account, just the listed contact for your firm.Originally Posted by mswas

After all of this, I was able to track someone down who knows the old web developer. He is going to get me the info on Monday. Thanks everyone, for helping out a jaguarpc newbie.
