    Gigadeal X5

    Hi!

I currently have a site (www.mindelude.com) and its being hosted on the Gigadeal plan. (Just the Gigadeal, not the X5)

I need to host many files, such as, Videos, Images, and audio. it'll require many space, :-\

For just 7.95, is this the right hosting plan for me?

PS. If I Do get this, can I cancel my gigadeal?

    Thank you.

    no problem.
yea just send them an email, they do not auto upgrade accounts when plans change, so its important to keep an eye on the plans and pricing so you get the best deal. but they will switch it for you no prob, they are real good about that stuff IME

Web space is web space, it depends on the number and size of your files.

There is no way anyone can awnser that with the information provided

With the Gigadeal X5 you get 5000 MB, which gives you about 4 hrs of normal DVD quality video.

or about 83 hrs of standard MP3 Audio....

just take a Look at the number of files you have and see how big they are...

You need to look at the files your going to upload, not the files current in the system

If these are to be user uploaded Files, you can limit each user to X space...

so forinstance if you wanted to have each user 100mb your plan would support 49 Users (leaving 100MB for SQL expansion and your actual site files)

    Um...

Doing simple math, it looks like you already have an X5 account...

If you just updating from the Gigadeal, to the Gigadeal X5 there is no additional cost. All you need to do is open a support ticket and ask them to upgrade you.

To just add space to your GigaDeal it'll cost you $2 per gigabyte per month, plus $1/Gb for extra data transfer if you exceed your allotted 75Gb. You could also upgrade to a semi-dedicated package for $29.95/month and get 12,000 Mb if you need a lot of space and 125Gb of transfer.

if you need much more than the GigaDeal I would look in to the Bulk Reseller Plans or a VPS Plan

it will be cheaper in the Long Run

Or a reseller package (and just not resell) for $19.95 for 10GB HDS and 100GBxfer
