Subversion?

Hi

Has anyone been able to install and run subversion (the software version control system) on their Jaguar server?

I know CVS is possible, but before I tried subversion, I thought I'd see if anyone else out there has any tips...?

Subversion is a server process, I believe, so you won't be able to run it on a shared server (that whole TOS clause about not installing programs that run in the background applies...). If you have a VPS or a dedicated then you shouldn't have any problems.

I just had a support ticket open and Masood said that Subversion isn't compatible with the shared hosting. I use wordpress off their subversion so it'd be nice if I had that on the server like you guys have CVS installed.

Subversion requires apache2. While interworx ships and works with apache 2 cpanel does not yet. You could run interworx, apache2, and subversion on your own vps plan .
