    URGENT: account closure too soon

    Hello,

i posted a support ticket stating that i would like to close my account at the next billing period (7th april).

I was told to fill in the cancelation form, which i did. My account has been closed too early...we still have websites on the server and have not yet finished the transfer.

I am also unable to access the Jaguar PC client area.

My account name is lucky.dns-key.com (69.73.170.199) - please help!

    Thank you,

    Ricky Mills

I'm sorry for the trouble. It should have been made more clear that when you complete the form the account is removed immediately. I'm having your account restored from backups at this time.

I assume you are posting here because you are unable to access the ticket system as well? I would nevertheless suggest you try more direct methods of contact, as back-ups may be purged as well if it takes to long. Closing an account is a sales matter, so don't hesitate to e-mail / phone / PM them to get this going again. http://www.jaguarpc.com/contact.php . Good luck

Edit: ah, Les saw it anyway already

Just a guess, but restoring a gig of data from a terabyte backup, or whatever, *might* take a while... like finding a needle in a haystack...

Sorry about my lack of reply here.

With the last release of Virtuozzo (3.0) there was a change to how the backup restore function worked which essentially broke the tool on servers that were upgraded from previous versions. It took swsoft a while to get their fix to work and your VPS is back up. I have also corrected your clients area logins which will remain active until the time specified where the account will close as requested.
