Why is this?

Hello again,

I've been wondering and brainstorming about something lately.

I've noticed a few months ago (or maybe even always) that my pages take for ever to load. I have comcast (and honestly I see no diffrence from my dial up from many yrs ago) and my pages are very simple pages, they're not forums or 250 pages long blogs or anything like that but in a lot of cases it takes almost 1 minute to load specially in the evenings and my emails are just as slow downloading to my pop acct as well. Hardly ever my pages download fast

When I come to this board, it loads fast! But my pages don't and as I speak and type this post, I'm still waiting for my page to load completely, is almost half way done by now
Why is this? What could be causing this?

Maybe it would be an idea to tell us which page it is which loads so slow,there can be so many reasons why it doesnt load fast. I am willing to look how it goes from here, just need a bit of more info though.

If you feel its server related i would however create a ticket for JaguarPC instead of asking this question in the forum.

For info to other users, the website containt a lot of very large bmp pictures, which load very slow. These have been changed to .jpg and the page loads a lot faster now.

Ms_Lamborghini also mentioned that cpanel and webmail where slow, of course i can not give any comment on that as i am not on the same server.

This is what has been discussed in the PM, but i dislike posts where nobody tells what happend and what was the sollution.
