    Hrm... interesting question...

Personally, I have some games on my site -- sorta -- but they are actually linked offsite.

However, I have played around, also, with running flash arcade games on JagPC, and they work fine.

So, I would guess the answer to your question is a qualified, "Yes!", JagPC can handle arcade games... at least flash arcade games.

    Here's an example: http://www.lenon.com/flash/zed.swf

If its about flash games, that would not be an issue, as flash games only cost bandwidth (so that would be your concern) as flash games do not use server resources (some might connect to keep statistics in a mysql database, but that isn't such a big of a deal). But the main computing power for flash games comes from the end-users computer.

If you mean other kind of games, please let us know a bit more

    Kindest regards,
    Patrick

piper, those are indeed flash games, so only concideration is the bandwidth and speed of downloads, I don't see why this wouldnt be possible on JPC, i think their services are perfect to run a services like this.

    Kindest regards,
    Patrick

Thanks, I'm going to try it. If I get the boot from Jag for being a resource hog I'll let you know, lol.

    Piper,

If you get thousands of people playing your arcade-games at the same time, using the database to add their highscores, it might , but for the games itself it should not be a problem, as it is not a server-side but client-side, so if they say you are a resource hog, you either did go far over your max. bandwidth or business goes so well you need some dedicated servers

    Kind regards,
    Patrick

    Confirming...

As long as you don't run any 'interactive' games, you won't have any problems here, I'm sure. JagPC's policy is: no programs running continuously in the background are allowed.

As long as you don't start running game servers, I *think* you'll be okay...
