Slow Website, suspect a DOS

hello, the website www.webturd.com is Awfully slow.

As my own website just been DOSsed by some finish IP, im expecting that they move along to the webturd.com website, and dossing that one.

im not able to acces the site at all since 5-10 minutes now.

the DOS originating IP that was targeting my other site (www.battlefieldranking.net ) comes from finland and is : 80.222.121.44

i hope you can help us out getting the website reachable again.

Since you know the IP couldn't you just block it using the .htaccess file?

Better inform support about it so they may route the IP in their firewalls. .htaccess has little use as it still invokes the apache processes and therrefor using resources. Best place to stop this is either on the firewall of the machine or better on firewalls in the network infrastructure.

A complain to the IP owner of this address might be a good idea too. (if you have logs) since you say its finish, you can lookup the details at RIPE
