    domain transfering help

    Hi.
I want to change my registrar to you guys because im pretty sure im getting ripped off at godaddy.com.
My dream is to build a really professional looking site for my battlefield 2 team, and the website builder there is for people who want a un-pro looking site.

But i think first i need help understanding domain transfering. Heres how i see it

You want to change registrars but if you cancel the current one, your domain wont be available for buying again for another 30 days. So when you transfer your domain, you can skip waiting and start getting the space, tools, and stuff from jaguar, but keeping the same domain. Is this correct??

Also. Is the website builder that JPC offers what i need to build a proffesional looking website?
    Thanks,
    soon to be JPC owner

    Hi Mithch,

Transferring registers will not affect your domain at all. It may take some time (30 days) but the domain name is not canceled.

I don't like Godaddy, but I think what you are talking about is changing host, which is another issue.

A domain name register, and a domain host are different things, although you could have both with one company.
