    addon/multi-hosted domains

Ok, I'm confused. I just downgraded from a VPS to a shared account. I've had dozens of shared accounts with other hosting companies, but this is a first:

Hint: Addon Domains will not be functional unless the domain name is registered with a valid registrar and configured to point to our DNS servers. You also need to point the domain to our name servers and wait for 24 hours before adding the new domain.
So to move over 10 or so sites, they either have to be down 24 hours before I can even upload the files and begin to fix all the scripts to work with the new databases, OR I have to create a ticket for each site and get support to set up each one indivually? Why isn't it automatic like every other hosting company? I'm not complaining per se, just curious why jag would want the extra workload. You guys not busy enough?

I think it is intended as a security feature, to prevent domain hijacking. When I had to move a (single) domain to my account I opened a support ticket and they set it up manually for me.

So its to prevent me from hijacking other's domains? Or them from hijacking mine? I don't see how being able to set up a site before switching it over does anything but make the downtime much shorter for the site(s).
