    Access through IP?

Is there a way that I can access my website contents via the IP address as opposed to the domain name? My domain has expired, and I'm going to have a minimum of 40 very angry people on my tail in about 3 hours if I can't figure out a way to access some statistics that were on my website. They were stored in a mySQL database and I can access this via phpMyAdmin in the cPanel, but this doesn't help. I can't really give out the account information to everyone so they can search through the database manually.

Do you still have the initial email jag sent you when you signed up? It gives you the info you are seeking.

That was over 2 years ago now, I do not still have it. I have the IP address that is linked to my website (found via the support kbase) but it doesnt load my site contents. Try it for yourself to see what I mean.

A HIGH priority ticket was opened to JPC almost 2 hours ago now, which I haven't seen a service representative even look at yet. This just adds to my frustration because my domain name expired in the first place because JPC failed to provide me with any kind of notice, despite having up to date contact information for mail, telephone, and email, with setup to receive notifications from them. My time is running out and I was really hopeful that someone in the forums might be able to help me out since support isn't available at the moment.

Oh thank goodness! I found you need to add ~username to the IP! One step in the right direction! Now hopefully one of the JPC staff will come across my thread and get back to my ticket to get the rest of this solved!

If anyone is interested sending in the ticket I mentioned above was a complete waste of time. The customer service representative found a wonderfully polite way to tell me to go somewhere else because it wasn't the proper department/area.

Yeah, that's true, if you have a shared IP, but if you have a dedicated IP, the account name is optional.

You can also use SSL, shared or dedicated...

It sounds like a sales issue to me. Sales is not 24/7. Support is but unfortunately support can't help with some sales issues.

When you submitted the ticket support should have forwarded to sales. Unfortunately they do not always do that.

It's been a long time since I submitted a support ticket, but I think there is a drop down box, so you can select support or sales. Something like that. I think the default is support, who are not as helpful after hours.

If it is a sales issue you will probably have to wait until tomorrow to get your problem resolved.
