why cant you open a ticket? Opening a ticket has nothing to do with your cpanel username or password
That is pretty much your only option
the domain belongs to a friend, for which im rebuilding since last hack/crash.
i cannot imagine that he didnt mailed me about the changes of those passwords.
whats worse, i cant reach him!
Again, i think its VERY STRANGE that the cpanel and ftp password changed suddenly yesterday.the last time trange things happened, complete databases were removed!
Note : Im from the Netherlands, Brow is from Indiana - US.
As i had access to the Cpanel, i could do all things as needed, i only cannot indentify myself as customer, andget a ticket ....
When strange things happen, or outage - i directly read the announements here. As i didnt find any oddities on Patriot, and cant reach the domain owner - i decided to post.

DISCLAIMER Any resemblance between the views expressed above and those of the owners and operators of this system is purely coincidental. Any resemblance between these views and my own are non-deterministic. The existence of Vin DSL is questionable. The existence of views in the absence of anyone to hold them is problematic. The existence of the reader is left as an exercise in the second-order coefficient.
Well I feel for your situtation however the account owner is the only person authorized (unless prior arrangments have been made) to request resets to the password.
This is a GOOD THING, I dont want any old shmoe asking JPC to reset a password on my account.
I suggest you keep tring to contact your friend. If the overseas things is a Problem, PM me with local contact info for your friend, I live in Indiana so I may be able to contact him for you.....
- i do keep contacting my friend, best chance is during the week probably.
thanks for the heads up though.
and if you check my posting history, you'll see a pattern.
in fact, im that Jerry Hopper guy you'll find over at www.webturd.comhell, im even streaming the music that's played on battleturdRadio!
but aside that, im not informed on updates on patriot, and since the old site got hacked, im only busy with fixing everything.
im the only guy at webturd with 'decent' knowledge of php and stuff....
i found scanning scripts and a 'php shell' clone of some kind....
this was after a few databases mysteriously dissapeared. ( note : www.bf2142forums.com its not revived after the hack yet. other domains are www.webturd.com and www.bfbanners.com - all sites the Main Database were myteriously deleted. )
I do know that brow runs more websites that use this account, and therefore i suspect that maybe some script is hooked up in the other sites.
this a thing i would have been going to find out after Webturd was fully operational, and after i reimported the old Battlefield shows and guides database.
for VinDSL, thanks a lot! for opening the ticket.
and now hope they'll read this thread.
About resetting a password, im not asking for such!!
i only note its HIGLY unlikely that the cpanel and ftp pass would be changed without a note to me.
im SUSPECTING strange behaviour, based on stuff i found out while rebuilding webturd.com to a recent version of joomla.
with that said,
its time again to spam brow's email.....

Hi satcom,
If you dont have your client area login , then please send an email to sales@jaguarpc.com with last four digits of the credit card that we have on file for this client area and Sales people will provide you with your client area login. And if you dont have this info , then we are sorry but only a authorised person can get a password changed for this account.
well like I said if you have any local contact info (phone address etc) I would be happy to make a phone call and tell him to contact you.
The only thing JAG can do is reset the passwords. They can look at the logs and see if it was a hack, but even if it was the only recourse is reseting the password.
still no sound from brow, the owner.
but luckyly i found an other ftp account that gives me access to where i need to be, kind of a hassle those permisions but at least i can do something![]()
AHHHHH! he just came online! there IS a god!
