Missing server?

I've been unable to access my site all day, so when I went to check the status of it, I noticed it wasn't listed any longer.

I filled out a trouble ticket which shows the following...

User Type: Client Admin
Server : optimus.nocdirect.com
Site IP: unknown

You'll notice optimus.nocdirect.com is not listed on the network status page, and the IP for my domain no longer resolves either.

Was this a migration gone wrong or something?

are you sure your on optimus? if I remember right Optimus has been offline for months...........

I think they replaced that server with a new one awhile back

Look in the Clietn Section under Manage Accounts, that will give you the server name..... if it say optimus, someone screwed up

Yeah when I view my accounts it still shows optimus.nocdirect.com. I got a reply on my support ticket that said I should clear my browser cache, would that effect ping's and tracerts?

Anyway, I've tried it from two machines and from the router, and from being directly connected to my cable modem and get no reply.

I asked the guy if DNS is resolving my domain properly, so we'll see.

Worst case is I can try it from work tomorrow which will point to my ISP being the problem.

But yes the Browser Cache can have an effect

I see the site www.coldinalaska.com just fine too.

According to reverse DNS it is also still hosted at the main (shared) IP of optimus.nocdirect.com ..

hmm, It does not show up in the list anymore and it has been red for weeks before that...
