    Contacting Support

I tried calling into the JagPC phone number for support (as I was not able to connect to any of my sites via 2 different connections) to be told to contact Support via my portal login.

Is there any other way to contact support if I do not have any WAN connectivity?

    Thanks

if you cant access the net, why do you need to contact JPC, JPC cant assist you with your Connection problems...

However to Answer your Question, NO, support it handled exclusively by the Trouble Ticket System

I had no issues with other site (CNN, Yahoo, etc)... so its not like the whole web was down where I live & work in any way.

There was about a 60 minute outage the other day, and I cant let my customers wait an hour to hear what is going on... can yours? There has to be some sort of a back up web site in another NOC or something, no?

    Bad day ancient?

I wasn't aware Jag had any phone support. The ticket system they have works great, though.

There is no "Package" pr "Plan" to sign up for, JAg Currently operates out of 2 Data centers, GNAX in Atlanta, and CyrusOne in Houston.

You can request another Package to be host in the data center you currently not in, then you can with

Then you can either host a Mirror of your site there (in which case you would have to set up sql mirrors and file sync.

or you can host "site down" message and have jag set the dns so if the server goes down your users will see the other account instead

There are also Services that offer what is called "DNS FAIL OVER" which you can then host a Down message locally on your home/office PC if you have a always on Broadband Connection or with a secondary Jag account (or anywhere) this will automatically change the A Record if the site goes down, however for this to be effective you have to have the TTL low which causes more DNS queries which increases the cost.....

No, I am not worried about fail over plans, i am worried about how to contact Support when the web site is down... same as in my original post.

I saw else where that they are going to put a server status box in a 3rd data center, but that is still not a way to contact support.

if there is a big enough problem that the Ticket Center is down, I dont want support tied up answering your questions, I want them Fixing the issues...
