    Wink Problems With Audio :-(

    Hello world,
I don't know if this is the place to post for this but here we go.......

I have uploaded an audio file to my page (AudioPlayer.swf) few yrs back and was working beautifully (here at JAGUAR), but 3 days ago I moved that page to another one of my subdomains (html) and my audio sounds great to me on all the broswers but for some reason the audio can not work with all those who view it from other systems, only some.. why is this?

Everything works perfectly from my end but I've got emails from surfers telling me that my audio is not working on that page... can you please check my link and let me know if you view everything fine (background blue sky) and the audio.
If you have problems with the viewing or audio, please advice on how to fix this

Here's the link (is a picture slide show with audio)

    Thanks so much,
    ML

I didn't hear anything, or see anything other than a few words of text. I turned my speakers on for the first time in months to look at the page.

Has audio ever worked in these browsers? When IE upgrades, sometimes you have to re-enable the Windows Media Player Plugin.

The audio plays for me just fine too.

Now, I haven't had much experience adding Flash files to pages, but since the audio is in a SWF file, perhaps the people who can't hear it don't have the Flash plugin. Is that true for you Connie?

Or, could it be possible a higher version of the Flash plugin is needed, so those with the lower version can't hear it?

Your might be onto something there JB. I don't have flash disabled but I can't view all sites that require flash. Some I can and some I can't.

I don't download plugins to view or listen to any site. Want my attention. Design your site for me. Don't expect me to redo my browser for you.

I wasn't aware that this sound thing required flash. My Hillbilly tech talk.

    there you go.....

however Connie, not having the flash plugin, is like not having acrobat , you just gotta have it...

Flash is very effective and good when used property some sites just go over board with it. However Streaming Audio with flash is a good choice

    No it isn't!

Look, troll, you made a declarative statement that:
Flash is very effective and good when used property some sites just go over board with it...
I would like you to produce a link to just one site where Flash is used "improperty" [sic] or they went "over board" [sic]...

    Eh?
