Firewall available ?

I would like some information about your vps.

How can you provide a firewall for your vps?
My actual provider can't and explain it is not possible because all the vps on a node share the same kernel. Does APF use iptable?

If I a take a vps with you, Could I try it at atlanta and move it to Amsterdam later?

Hi Dino,

Yes we fully support the APF firewall. If your current provider is not able to provide support for it then they probably don't know how to configure their servers to let VPS's work with iptables. On our VPS's it will work without a problem.

It is possible to get your VPS moved to a different datacenter, however keep in mind that your IP addresses would then also be changed.

You might also want to check out http://www.configserver.com for their firewall. Works real well and I know they have it on VPS also, just do some digging. You can control this 100% yourself easy with GUI.
