    vBulletin with DEHE?

Anybody else here running a vBulletin forum with DEHE? Just wondering how your forum runs.

I'm having serious lag issues with mine and no one in support (lag ticket mysteriously erased as well) can give me any specific answers. This is a stock vb forum too with usually under 10 users online at the same time. Small database as well.

Usually what happens is I'll post a message, it'll take sometimes up to 20 seconds for it to post. Then I'll post again and it'll be fast. Same with viewing the forum. Takes time to view it but once it's loaded and I press refresh, it'll be fast as well. Basically, php processes are slow at first and fast later. Very frustrating.

Oh, and php accellerator doesn't support my php version and I don't want to downgrade. So that's not an option but since the size of my forum is small, it shouldn't be needed anyhow. Before when I was on shared hosting it was faster. :-(

If there are only 10 people on your VPS at the same time and it's lagging then it's more than likely there's something wrong with your configuration. It's not really possible for me to give you specific advice here as we'd have to take a look inside your VPS to troubleshoot, but you may feel free to open a support ticket about this.

I'll open a new ticket but I did open a ticket regarding this and I went back and forth a bit with support on this and they couldn't find anything. Not to mention, this ticket doesn't exist anymore on my.dehe.com.

Was there issues recently with tickets disappearing?

Tickets don't disappear, if it doesn't appear in my.dehe.com anymore it was most likely passed to billing or something of that nature. It is impossible to remove tickets in our system unless the MySQL would be altered manually (which won't happen).

Keep in mind that if support wasn't able to find anything they probably also tested it themselves - meaning this could be an isolated problem (e.g. it could be your ISP, somehow). That's just a shot in the dark though, you'll be able to get a more accurate answer from support.
