Filesystem problem on 1 USA server [resolved]

Currently one server in USA is experiencing a filesystem problem. All customers on this server have already been notified by email, but due to a similar problem in a different thread on this forum I'm also posting this, to avoid misunderstandings.

The node in question is currently going through a fsck. There will be no dataloss and we will be able to restore services immediately upon completion of the fsck.

    Our apologies for the inconvenience.

    Hi Andre,

Is this a second node or still the same node?

Sorry for the confusion; this is a different node and is completely unrelated from http://www.dehe.com/showthread.php?t=909. The two issues have nothing to do with eachother.

    Hi Andre,

Thats ok. Just a bit confused thats is all.

Every thing seems to be happening at the same time for DEHE/Solidhost.

Lets hope this next month is not as bad as the last few.

The last few have been pretty good compared to what happened earlier this year, but those problems have been resolved permanently. These are isolated incidents - in this specific case we are not sure what caused the problem yet, we will be able to determine that once the fsck is done.

Ok, this is pretty terrible guys. Andre, seriously, what in the hell is going on? My vps has been down for nearly 10 hours now. You say that this is unrelated to the previous thread? How can this be? My vps is still down, and you confirmed that the reason was due to a file problem. In the previous thread you say that the issue has been resolved. I can only speculate that this thread is actually a continuation of the same problem.

I'm a real nice guy, and I very rarely rant about trivial things. However, this is really unnacceptable. My vps has been down for literally over 10 hours. So the previous issue was not 100% resolved.

Please advise as to what's going on, ASAP. (I've already submitted two tickets today.)

V2: I would recommend you read before you comment. The problem in the other thread had nothing to do with this server.

The fsck has now finally completed and we are booting up VPS's right now. As said before we had no way of speeding this up more than we already did. For any further information please open a support ticket.
