Bad expierence after two years (ANDRE, read please)

I have to say this, after two years (or more?) working with solidhost (since it was solidrack), with a reseller plan and with a good support, a couple of months ago started all my problems. Suddendly all my accounts hosted in my plan in ruby server were hacked... I have to say that the support was a not as good as i expected since two of my accounts were irrecuperable from the backups. Bad signal. I have to say that, at first, Andre and Milovan work on almost everything and things used to be better then.

Now, apparently after the change from my account from solidhost to dehe, the situation went completly bad.

One day, my account was inaccesible, none of my hosted accounts were visible, everything were deleted. Apparently, as is said here at the forums, was a hard disk problem, then they have to move dehe to a new server. But, the really bad, is that all my information (accounts, databases, files, dns info, everything) were deleted and after a few support mails, they told me that my backup does not exist.

I have backup of my sites, but none for my customers, I trust completly on your service. This was about a week ago, and until now, the service and the server is not working properly again.

I have to say that just this days, I was planning move my reseller package to VPS and even try to resell VPS. It's hard for me to say that now, almost all my customer had cancelled their accounts, I think I was not able to finance the operation without customers, I am thinking about it, maybe I will be forced to be out of bussiness because of this event. It's sad to see when my bussiness were walking (somethimes bad, sometimes fine), now I will have to shut down everything.

I haven't decided yet, but, I just need to say this and let everybody knows what happened here and to make a recomendation for all of you. BACKUPS!.

If this is the case we would be happy to give you a credit you can pass down to your clients and make you a deal on a vps plan. You said it best, always always do backups. We do them but as you can see sometimes they fail us too. One can never have enough backups.

sorry to hear about your situation. please get with me to see how we might be able to help moving forward greg[at]dehe.com
