    Video SHaring Sites

    Has anyone managed to get any type of youtube clone to work on the SDX plan? I am having a hell of a time with the videos not converting.

    The script I am using is from www.clip-share.com

    Hi,

    We do have a lot of clients running the alstrasoft software, and I am sure we have some running clipshare, have you opened a support ticket, to see if they can help.

    I started playing around with a .flv player on SDX.

    I haven't developed it very far, but it does work...

    grrrreat site! Hmmmm.... I've been nosing around for a video converter/player for a while for my site -- I'm kinda tired of members linking to Youtube.

    Does the video seem out of sync with the audio on some clips? The one in particular is the "largest facility" vid.

    I realize Jaguar is in a partnership with Alstrasoft. However, I must recommend that anyone considering purchasing this software - please read about previous Alstrasoft customer experiences first!!!!

    I guarantee you will think twice before handing over that $$

    The script I am using is not an altrasoft script, so no worries there. I too noticed the out of sync, I checked the source footage and that is in sync, so it is something to do with the encoding.

    How many clients per SDX box?

    Anyone happen to know what kinda BW is available on the SDX plan? I dont mean monthly transfer, I mean raw speed at any given time? Dedicated 10Mb for the box?

    100Mb connection to the server. I get about 8-10 Mb routinely from Vin DSL's bandwidth test. If I run two simultaneously I max out my 15Mb fiber optic FiOS connection.

    Thanks for the info guys!

    I have nothing but excellent things to say about the peopleon the forum, and my experience here at JagPC so far.

    Now if only I could get my nagging attachmax script to work.....
